The STEN (or Sten gun) was a British 9 mm submachine guns used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. They were notable for having a simple design and very low production cost. STEN is an acronym, from the names of the weapon's chief designers, Major Reginald V. Shepherd and Harold Turpin, and EN for Enfield. The Sten was a blowback-operated submachine gun firing from an open bolt with a fixed firing pin on the face of the bolt. Denix has done a fantastic job in replicating the working bolt action.

      Help, I can’t figure out how to hold this awkward amalgamation of steel. That aside, it’s a neat little Fascist thumper. Makes me wanna hide some radios around the house, and make mischief for the local occupation garrisons.

      Actually handled a real Sten many years ago. I was always enamored of them, especially since they are so iconic and well represented in WWll movies like The Guns of Navarone. This is a very good and faithful reproduction of a weapon that most of us cannot legally or financially own. I am very happy that Denix and ReplicaWeaponry.com make these available for us.       Very impressive replica, very accurate all around. I weathered the finish with steel wool and it looks even better. Several people who have looked at it thought it was a real Sten!

      Always wanted one of these. Not really able to get one working these days so this is a nice replacement. Accurate in size and style. Makes a nice wall piece.
