The MP-41 (M.P. 41) submachine gun was developed by Hugo Schmeisser, son of the Louis Schmeisser who developed the first practical machine gun, the MP-18. At the time of development of MP-41, the company C.G.Haenel, at which Schmeisser was chief designer, manufactured MP-40 submachine guns for German army. Based on the highly successful MP40, the MP41 incorporated a wooden stock and was select fire. The MP41 saw limited production and was issued primarily to the SS Troops. Our reproduction is all metal and wood construction. The magazine is removable, the bolt trigger and selector switch all function. This impressive replica measures approximately 34 inches long. With its realistic look and feel, this MP41 Submachine Gun makes for a great decoration and display piece. Plus, its realistic look makes it the perfect weapon to carry when you plan on participating in a stage production or reenactment that needs such a high degree of realism.

      Extremely Realistic

Steel/woodwork was on point, magazine comes out and can properly fit demilitarized 9mm blank rounds, can perfectly slip on an MP41/Kar98k sling into the stock, bolt opens up, safety exists, only downside is that the selector switch at the top of the trigger doesn't actually push-through as mentioned in the description. Other than that small detail, this is an extremely realistic gun used for theatrical purposes. Well done!
