Lever action rifle
A completely beautiful piece! Lever action, hammer shell ejection all function. Beautiful finish on the wood and metal. Solidly built and a great prop! 100% recommend. I own several replicas from denix and this is the prize of the collection. Some of there replicas have slight wobble or screws that work loose but that has not been the case with this one.

Denix 1892 Replica lever action carbine.
Now this fine replica almost got me in some serious trouble!! While traveling to visit a friend of mine, I had this carbine and 3 Denix Replica revolvers in my car, the carbine was starting to move towards the door panel. I stopped at a convenience store, went to the passenger side, opened the door, and picked up the replica carbine by the barrel to move it over and then wrap the barrel. What I did not see was a police officer close by and he immediately came to my car and had me, as he said, "Let go of the weapon and go to the other side of the vehicle!" And I did! within a few minutes, there were 3 more police vehicles at my location. Something a 'Man with a gun' gets a fast response. The cops are all talking to me very loud, I'm trying to tell them the rifle is not real, they are now yelling at me asking why I was holding the weapon. Then they saw the other replica 'weapons' on the floor of my car! My thoughts are I'm going to jail! Finally got the words out with them not talking and told them the weapons are replicas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After much more talk all of the cops left and the one left was still asking why I was holding the weapon???? I explained my situation, he said the replica (now) sure looks real! Yep, that's why it is called a replica. After a few more minutes he calmed down and left, I wrapped the replica weapon barrel so it would not rub the door panel of my car and I left. Yep, very realistic carbine, that's for sure!!
