More Model 1849 Pocket Pistols were produced than any other Colt cap-and-ball firearm. Over its 23-year production life (1850 - 1873) about 340,000 pieces were made in total. Some 200 variations were produced during this time. This non-firing replica represents the "Wells Fargo" model which, with its 3" barrel was relatively easy to carry. This .31 caliber small frame dragoon was used during the Gold Rush, Civil War, and Old West Eras. Our hideaway gun replica gun measures 7.75" in length and has a 5 shot rotating barrel, 3" metal octagonal barrel and wood grips.

Fantastic in person
This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. They make the perfect addition to a replica of a 19th century vampire hunting kit. The gray is darker than in the Denix photos, which gives it even more authenticity. Shopping with Replica Weaponry was easy and the shipping was fast. The packaging was first-rate, too.

Pocket Pistol Percussion.
The pocket pistol is a fantastic replica, and ?? the look, feel, it appears very real. The one issue it does have, the hammer does not seat tightly, against the cylinder nipple, thus it cannot be utilized as a cap gun. ? Other than that, it is a great replica !!!
