This Commercial Model features a 50 round removable drum and pistol fore grip, just like Capones soldiers would have used. The bolt cocks and releases with a pull of the trigger. This military version of this model (item No. 22-1093) was later made famous by troops of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions in World War II. This is the most recognizable firearm in U.S. History!

This is a top notch Thompson drum magazine/forward pistol grip replica. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Of course, as with all Denix replicas, some of the original's working parts, like the selector switches, do not work; they are just cast into the metal, but that's to be expected. The weight and feel of this "Tommy" gun is excellent and I highly recommend it to WWII or FBI Elliot Ness/Dillinger era collectors.
