Few antique firearms can compare to this Left-Handed Austrian Flintlock Pistol, as its appearance is almost second to none. This flintlock is designed to be drawn and fired with the left hand, leaving your right hand free to wield a cutlass. Placing the lock on the left side prevented the lock from snagging on clothing when drawing from your belt. Features an engraved lock and butt plate. A nice feature of this flintlock is the distinctive shape of the wood stock, which makes this pistol comfortable to hold and handle. The other details, including a brass finished barrel with attractive engravings and a lock plate with equally fine engravings, serve only to enhance the look of this traditional flintlock. The pistol measures approximately 15.5 inches long. Please note that this is a replica pistol and that in spite of any moving parts it may possess or how realistic it may look, it cannot be converted into a working flintlock firearm.
