Originally designed and built in Pennsylvania in the late 1700s. These rifles were popular from the Revolutionary War to well into the 19th century. They played an integral role in the early western expansion and are most often associated with Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. The Kentucky rifle was one of the first to feature a "rifled" bore which made it extremely accurate for its time. Our reproduction features real wood stock and metal construction. Perfect for re-enactment and theatre productions.

Quality and workmanship
I’m not an expert in firearms weaponry. However I wanted to display realistic firearms through American history without the cost of the real thing. So far this item has fit the ticket. It’s quality work and details at a tenth of the cost. I fully intend to continue to expand this collection.

Good value
The good The gun is well made and will be perfect for Color Guard and other Revolutionary War era activities. Real value at this price. The Bad I wish I could say it was worth the wait, but the wait was 6 months due to repeated failures by Denix to ship when promised. The vendor had no direct control and provided repeated updates as Denix moved and missed the shipment date many times. Perhaps RW has no other comparable supplier. If so, they should be honest up front. Send us your money and SOMEDAY we will deliver your purchase. Instead they get your money and then let you know the bad news.
