metal quality
the part of the hammer that makes contact with the trigger has sheared itself smooth after about 3 weeks of use, causing the hammer to no longer reliably stay at full cock and will sometimes activate itself with no pressure on the trigger, was not expecting the metal quality to be the first thing that falters, but for the price, its not a bad item. still looks fine from the outside and is still useful for practicing your gunspinning or any other manner of fancy handling.

not a toy
I bought this about two weeks ago and while it does look great and feel great, it is not a toy and has already broken. the hammer no longer rotates the cylinder and the screws come loose sometimes. would be great as a display piece though. what can you expect for $50.

Good quality materials and realistic weight. Everything like in the description and I loved it.

cylinder and ejector rod issue
The gun is beautiful. the glossy finish is exactly what i was looking for. the weight was heavier than i expected (which is a good thing) and sustained a drop from a solid floor that left no mark. the guns mechanisms work as it’s supposed to. only issue i could find was that the cylinder does not spin smoothly even in half cock. a solution is to graze the cylinder on your arm to let it spin. simply spinning it with your hand won’t make it spin very long as the cylinder is very tight and can get stuck sometimes. the ejector rod can hit the inside of the cylinder as it is not properly aligned to go straight through the cylinder, resulting in the ejector rod constantly hitting the inside of the cylinder, causing it to stop completely about midway when pressing down on the ejector rod, which is entirely unsatisfying. but overall, every other aspect of the piece works as it should and looks beautiful.

GREAT PRODUCT
It is great product and it is just like the discribtion. It is pretty heavy, wouldn't really recomend as a gift for children but over all it is great! I loved it and so will other collecters.

1873 Nickel finish
Received my revolvers Saturday. What bang for your buck. They look amazing and feel pretty good in the hand. Fun to spin and play with. The revolver looks very realistic and from a distance its hard to tell its a replica. Only complaint is the cylinder doesn't lock up when not cocked and the half cock position doesn't work very well either. In videos I've seen these guns have a satisfying click when spinning the cylinder but this is not the case. All in all these revolvers are excellent show pieces especially if you dont want to leave the real deal laying around the house or like to spin guns and don't want to risk dropping a 500 dollar plus single action. 4 out of 5 stars!
