It’s perfect
Love the weight and feel
Remington’s Derringer is a .41 caliber, double-barreled hideaway handgun. The Denix replica is modeled after the ornate 1866 original, featuring an antique brass finish, scrollwork engraving, and faux pearl grips. The hinged barrel of this replica gun swings upward for easy reloading. Whether you’re a gambler, gunfighter, or simply an aficionado of Western handguns, this twin-shot beauty is a must-have.

First, a few warnings. Even though this model has the "22-" prefix, it does not seem to work with faux ammo 22-001 or 22-49. Also, the extractor mechanism is completely non-functional, so don't expect a flawless reproduction. Similar to what happened when I purchased 22-1191N, it required a bit of persuasion to get all of the components operating smoothly out of the box. Nevertheless, this thing is a beauty! It opens up like a Derringer and gives you that feeling like you're packing heat in a frontier saloon. When the barrels are locked into place, they do jiggle a little, but not enough to take away from the enjoyment of dry firing. Bottom line: this thing looks beautiful, feels real, and operates rather well. The photo doesn't due this thing credit. Highly recommended. God bless, Miles
