The M1911 .45 caliber pistol has a rich history and tradition from the border campaigns against Pancho Villa through WWl, WWll, Korea and Vietnam. Our non-firing model is a highly detailed replica of the standard government issue sidearm of the U.S. soldier and in our opinion, is one of the best replicas available in the world today. This classic reproduction has over 30 metal and wood parts. The piece replicates the original M1911 in size, weight and appearance, and the parts function much like the original, even including an operating cartridge clip. However, parts cannot be interchanged or the replica made to fire ammunition.
